"Fuel for Thought"... Drive $mart Wisconsin

A unique specialized training program that incorporates 85 years of international and national fuel efficient driver programs and over 14 years of D$W hands on training. 

The curriculum was created by world-record holding drivers and focuses on the why fuel efficient driving is important, how driving impacts individuals, families, and local/national/world economies and the environment. 

Training will then give drivers the tools and strategies to mitigate all those costs while promoting safer driving as well.

Every vehicle on the road has the most advanced computer system in it: the human driver.  

D$W believes the Hu factor is the key to any gains in safety and fuel efficiency no matter what vehicle you are driving.  

All of our training focuses on the Hu factor more than technology because this Hu factor can achieve results above what the vehicle was designed to achieve, every time its driven.

$avings/Safety out of Thin Air          This is an outreach program to the general public performed by D$W  members along with interested partners in the community.  

This event is held  at high-traffic sites and checks tire pressures on vehicles, properly inflates  them as needed, and educates drivers about the importance of tire pressures and the "make every drop count" philosophy.  

Buying a new or used vehicle can be an expensive, intimidating, overwhelming and time consuming process. The D$W PAL Program will make this process a lot easier.

A veteran D$W member will partner with you in determining your needs and then do research and give you vehicle options that fit those needs. This is all done for FREE.

If you'd like your PAL to offer you a ride/drive in their vehicle or be present with a dealer/private party test drive there would be a nominal donation accepted.

The PAL program takes the headache and worry out of you alone selecting your next vehicle and gives you all the tools to make a knowledgeable decision. 

For the very first time in the United States, a public school driver's education program has offered a fuel efficient training segment as part of their curriculum. 

D$W has been asked to update our "Tools For a Lifetime" training to focus specifically on teen drivers as yet to be licensed. 

This training was also introduced to 3rd party driver instructors who are involved with the driver's ed program.

D$A is the premier fuel efficient adaptive driving program for small corporate, municipal, and private fleet operators. This is the for profit arm of Drive $mart Wisconsin. 

The Tools For a Lifetime program focuses primarily on the Hu factor and addresses safety, efficiency, maintenance, and insurance through individualized classroom and behind-the-wheel training with world-class instructors.  

Through this training, organizations have achieved as much as a 26% increase in fuel efficiency.

A faith based specialized training program that incorporates the "Tools For a Lifetime" curriculum with the focus on being better Stewards of this Earth, God's Garden. 

Through the use of biblical inspiration, this training can give drivers the skills to manage the resources God has given us wisely and to teach drivers to Do Less Harm to the environment every time they drive. 

Our D$W members are just regular drivers just like you, but have seen how better fuel savings also leads to safer driving. 

Some D$W members join with the main concern for the environment while some are just in it to save money. Both are valid reasons for joining us. 

We come together to learn, practice and than pay the Drive $mart skills forward to other drivers. There are no prerequisites of joining other than the desire to learn how to be a better and safer driver.
